Our Beliefs
At Greater IMPACT Church, we hold fast to the timeless truths found in the Word of God. Our beliefs are centered on the life, teachings, and love of Jesus Christ. We believe in the power of faith, the importance of community, and the call to share God’s love with the world.
For a deeper understanding of our core beliefs and how they shape our mission, you can explore them further below. We invite you to join us in living out these truths and growing together in faith.

What We Believe
It is our belief that The Holy Bible, both Old and New Testaments are the true accurate word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16). We Believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God who came into the world through a virgin named Mary to take upon himself the sins of the world so that we can be forgiven and be completely reconciled unto God the Father through acceptance of His completed works on the cross and the resurrection from the dead. (Matthew 1:18-25; 1 John 2:1-2;1 Peter 2:24; Luke 24).
We believe in the Holy Spirit and the gifts that God
the Father has imparted within His people through the Holy Spirit in order to accomplish His purpose and plan for our lives. We receive the Holy Spirit after repenting of our Sins and calling upon the name of Jesus Christ, accepting Him and receiving Him into our hearts as Lord and Savior through prayer and public declaration of Faith in His completed works on the cross and through His resurrection. (Galatians 3:14; Acts 1:8)
We believe in the gift of Salvation through the
acceptance of Jesus Christ into our hearts through prayer and repentance of our Sins. (Romans 10:9-10)
We believe in baptism through both water and the
Holy Spirit. We believe that both are necessary and are required according to scripture. The baptism of the Holy Spirit simply comes from God our Father through Jesus His Son when we decide to repent of our Sins and call upon His name. Baptism through water is our public declaration of our acceptance of Jesus Christ as both our Lord and Savior and symbolizes our sharing in His death and Resurrection as we are fully submerged in the water and lifted back up from out of the water. (Matthew 3:11; Acts 22:16; Galatians 3:27; Romans 6:4).
We believe in the Five Fold Ministry that consists of the
office of the Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, and Teachers are still necessary in our current day and age for the sole purpose of the Church to obtain unity of the Faith. (Ephesians 4:1-32)

Meet Jesus of Nazareth
Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the Savior of the world, and the central figure of our faith. He came to earth to reveal God’s love, teach the truth, and offer salvation through His death and resurrection. Jesus lived a perfect, sinless life and demonstrated God’s love by healing the sick, forgiving sins, and showing compassion to all people.
Through His crucifixion, Jesus took upon Himself the sins of humanity, offering forgiveness and eternal life to all who believe in Him. He conquered death by rising from the grave, proving that He is the Son of God and the hope for all who trust in Him.
**Scriptures that Reveal Who Jesus Is:**
- *John 14:6* – "Jesus answered, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"
- *John 3:16* – "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
- *Romans 5:8* – "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
- *Matthew 16:15-16* – "But what about you?" he asked. "Who do you say I am?" Simon Peter replied, "You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God."
Jesus is not only the Savior but also our Lord, offering a personal relationship with each believer. His life, death, and resurrection changed everything—bringing hope, healing, and eternal life to all who follow Him.
